Dreame Launches L50s Pro Nano Robot Vacuum on Hyundai Home Shopping
Chinese home appliance manufacturer Dreame Technology announced an exclusive product launch on May 15, 2026, targeting the South Korean market through Hyundai Home Shopping. The L50s Pro Nano represents the company's first direct water injection dedicated robot vacuum cleaner within its L series lineup.
The unveiling occurred via a live broadcast scheduled for May 16 at 5:35 p.m., running approximately 60 minutes. The demonstration focused on real-life usage environments, showcasing the direct water injection system and automatic management functions to convey the product's convenience intuitively.
Direct water injection fully automates the water supply and drainage process. This reduces the burden of water refilling and wastewater disposal, making maintenance easier for users (a problem that has plagued robot vacuum owners for years, frankly). The device is designed to create a more hygienic and efficient cleaning environment.
According to the Asia Economy report, the L50s Pro Nano features the patented Vormax™ high-power motor delivering maximum suction power of 30,000Pa. This enables effective removal of everything from large debris to fine dust in carpet crevices.
The mop supports powerful self-cleaning and 100°C high-temperature cleaning, effectively managing grease and odors. The product is equipped with the Pathfinder™ artificial intelligence system, which recognizes up to 220 types of obstacles, supporting precise navigation and cleaning even in complex indoor environments.
Mop and side brush extension functions enable thorough cleaning of walls, corners, and gaps between furniture. These mechanical extensions physically reach areas where standard robot vacuums typically leave residue, addressing the physical reality of floor cleaning rather than just theoretical coverage.
For the exclusive launch, various live broadcast-only benefits were prepared. During the broadcast, one customer was selected at both the 30-minute and 60-minute marks to receive an L50s Pro Nano, for a total of two winners. All customers who made a purchase during the broadcast received an exclusive accessory kit and 1L of cleaner as an additional gift.
A launch celebration Lucky Roulette event ran until May 31. Any customer who made a purchase could participate, and every participant received a prize. Benefits included the Dreame C10 Water Purifier, a 50,000 won fuel voucher, an exclusive consumables kit, and a 10,000 won Baedal Minjok gift certificate, among others.
An L-MBTI Test Event that anyone could join, regardless of purchase, also ran until May 31. This event offered various prizes such as the L50s Pro Ultra, L10s Ultra Gen3, and L40s Pro Ultra.
A representative from Dreame Technology stated, "With growing interest in direct water injection robot vacuum cleaners and consumer demand for easier maintenance, we have introduced the L50s Pro Nano, which fully automates the water supply and drainage process to enhance maintenance convenience."
The L50s Pro Nano became available for purchase on Naver Store starting May 17, with plans to gradually expand sales through various online channels and offline distribution networks.
Whether the direct water injection system delivers on its maintenance promises in real-world Korean households remains the actual question. The promotional frenzy and limited-time offers suggest Dreame is betting heavily on consumer impulse during the broadcast window.
The company will continue to strengthen its competitiveness in the domestic robot vacuum market by expanding its product lineup to match diverse consumer lifestyles. Whether users actually pay for it remains the real question.
