Samsung 2026 AI TV Malaysia Launch: Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED Lineup

Samsung Malaysia has unveiled its complete 2026 AI TV lineup featuring Micro RGB, OLED, and Neo QLED models with Vision AI Companion integration and promotional pricing starting at RM5,799.

Samsung Malaysia has officially launched its complete 2026 television lineup, marking the company's 20th consecutive year as the world's leading TV brand. The announcement brings AI-powered features across premium and mainstream categories, including Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, Mini LED, and UHD models.

The rollout centers on Samsung's Vision AI Companion (VAC) platform, which integrates Bixby, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot into a unified entertainment assistant. This system guides users through content discovery, audio optimization, and personalized recommendations across the entire 4K-and-above lineup.

Leading the premium segment is the new Micro RGB technology, available in the R95H and R85H series with sizes ranging from 65 to 115 inches. Unlike conventional LED or Mini LED displays, Micro RGB uses individually controlled red, green, and blue micro LEDs for precise brightness and color control. The flagship R95H has received German VDE certifications for eye safety and circadian rhythm display standards.

According to Samsung's official product documentation, the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro delivers 67% faster CPU processing, 2.0x faster NPU, and 4.2x faster GPU compared to the 2026 Neo QLED 4K NQ4 AI Processor. The display achieves 100% BT.2020 color gamut coverage with Micro RGB Precision Color 100 certification.

The 2026 OLED lineup includes the S95H, S90H, and S85H series. A notable upgrade is the expansion of Glare Free technology beyond the flagship S95H model to the S90H series as well. The S95H introduces Pantone Validated ArtfulColor technology and Samsung Art Store integration, while the FloatLayer Design gives the display a lighter, more refined physical presence.

For gamers, Samsung's Ultimate Gaming Pack brings Motion Xcelerator 165Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility. The physical experience matters here—quick-access gaming tools reduce menu navigation friction, and the 165Hz refresh rate keeps fast motion crisp without the ghosting that plagues lower-end displays.

The Neo QLED lineup for 2026 includes the QN80H and QN70H series, with sizes from 43 to 100 inches. These feature Quantum Mini LED technology, 100% color volume support, AI-powered 4K upscaling, and refresh rates up to 144Hz on selected models. The displays carry TÜV Rheinland Real QLED TV certification.

AI-enhanced entertainment features span the entire lineup. AI Upscaling Pro analyzes and enhances low-resolution content in real time, while AI Soccer Mode optimizes picture and sound for football matches. AI Sound Controller Pro lets users independently adjust dialogue, commentary, and sound effects—useful when the crowd noise drowns out the referee's whistle (a problem that has plagued sports viewers for years, frankly).

The Frame lineup has expanded with the new Frame Pro and built-in installation variants. The Frame Pro combines Neo QLED picture quality with Wireless One Connect functionality for cleaner cable management. Users gain access to over 5,000 curated artworks through Art Mode with AI-powered recommendations via Vision AI Companion.

Samsung also introduced new lifestyle audio products, including the Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 speakers. The Music Studio 7 features a 3.1.1-channel setup with Dolby Atmos support and expanded Q-Symphony functionality, allowing multiple compatible Samsung audio devices to connect simultaneously.

Pricing details from TechNave indicate promotional pricing starting at RM5,799 for selected models. The promotion runs until 31 May 2026, with additional bundle rewards of up to RM500 Touch 'n Go eWallet rebate when purchasing TVs with selected soundbars.

The 2026 AI TV range is available across Malaysia via the Samsung official website and leading retailers. According to Samsung Malaysia's official announcement, the launch reflects the company's strategy to make intelligent home entertainment more accessible to consumers.

Charles Kim, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics, stated the lineup transforms the TV from a screen into a smart companion delivering personalized viewing and seamless home ecosystem connectivity. The Vision AI Companion expansion brings AI-powered viewing to more categories, screen sizes, and consumer needs.

Whether the AI features actually improve daily viewing or just add menu complexity remains to be seen. Most consumers will probably just want their football matches to look good without navigating through five AI optimization layers first.
